Your knowledge deserves
a way to travel.
You don't need to teach a class to share a skill. Imagine turning a craft, method or lifetime of experience into a thoughtful learning series—on camera or off.
Show what you know, your way.
A skilled person could demonstrate a process while our future studio helps with filming, scripts, diagrams, captions, alternative formats, and learning exercises.
The contributor would approve what is published and agree to attribution, rights and any compensation before release. We would never assume that contributing expertise means giving it away.
Our teaching rhythm
Encounter → Observe → Question → Practice → Reflect → Develop
A flexible learning design, not six mandatory steps.
Confirm contributor consent, rights, accuracy, safety, accessibility, attribution, and the ability to correct or withdraw material according to agreed terms.
Different voices. Different ways to share.
The craftsperson
Doesn't want a classroom or a camera. We film their hands, preserve their commentary, and develop a gentle sequence of demonstrations.
The neighbor
Has decades of gardening experience. We document real seasonal practice, mistakes, local conditions and changes over time.
The engineer
Wants to explain how something works. We pair diagrams and experiments with source checks and hands-on projects.
The contributor keeps a voice.
The Unfolding's principles imply meaningful consent, appropriate recognition, boundaries, fair agreements, and openness to correction. Sharing knowledge is an invitation, not an obligation.
Help launch a Knowledge Studio pilot →What we'll need
A small production team, contributor agreements, accessibility expertise, mentors in instructional design, and a pilot that can be evaluated honestly.
